CRICKET.
HONGKONG C,C. v.
"AN ARMY XI."
As the King's Regiment was not able to put a full team in the field, the match arranged for Mar. 18th was compromised as indicated above. An unexciting game resulted. The civilians were all out for 98 but the Army could not succeed in reaching that not very high water mark of achievement by nearly 20 runs. The fol- lowing were the scores:-

HONGKONG C.C. 2nd XI. v. CRAIGEN- GOWER 2ND XI.
These teams met at Happy Valley on March 18th. Craigengower knocked up a score of 114 with R. Basa as their top scorer, with 23. Dorkins took four wickets for 22 runs and Hope three for 18 runs.
Hongkong scored 126 for nine wickets; H. H. Benson and L. D. McNicoll were the principal scorers with 31 and 30 res- pectively.
KOWLOON C.C. 2ND XI, v. CIVIL SERVICES C.C. 2nd XI.
This match, at Happy Valley on March 18th, resulted in an easy win for Kowloon. Batting first the Civil Services were all out for 37, no one getting into double figures. E. F. Spinks for Civil Services took wickets for 21 runs and G. Russell was responible for the other five at the even lower cost of 12.
For the home team F. E. Lawrence compiled 51, F. Evelyn 42 not out, and R. E. Lindsell 29. Stumps were drawn with the score at 182, for ten wickets.

LADIES' TRIANGULAR TENNIS MATCH.
L.R.C., U.S.R.C. AND PEAK CLUB,
This match was played off at the U.S.R.C. on the 15th inst., and resulted in a narrow victory for the L.R.O. by 4 games. This, Club thus makes the shield its own property, having won it three times in succession. Mrs. Delacombe and the L.R.C. ladies were "at home" to their friends and some very fine tennis was witne sed. The results were as fol- low:-
L.R.C. Mrs. Armstrong and Mrs. Brooke won all ther matches and scored 29 games out of 44.
Mrs. Haslam and Mrs. McCrum only lost one match and scored 24 games. Total: 53 games.
U.S.R.C.-Mrs. Bowden Smith and Mrs. Stern won two matches and lost two, scoring 24 games.
Mrs. R. E. and Mrs. A. S. Lindsell also won two and lost two, and scored 25 games. Total: 49 games.
